NYPD seeks knife-wielding man who attacked teen girl in Queens

ASTORIA, Queens – Police are looking for a man who allegedly slashed a woman after a verbal dispute inside a Queens housing complex.

The attack occured at the Queensbridge Houses located at 41-08 10th Street about 8:20 p.m. on July 7, cops said.

The victum suffered a slash wound to her ankle and was taken to a local hospital, where she has been released, according to the NYPD.

She toldĀ told police that she was having an argument with the 20-year-oldĀ man, who she knew, when he displayed a knife and then attacked her before fleeing the scene.

The knife-wielding man is described by police as white, approximately 6 feet tall, with brown eyes and brown hair in a long ponytail. He also has a scar on his right cheek, a tattoo spelling out Brooklyn on his left forearm and a tattoo of a cross spelling out “Karlene” on his right forearm, cops said.
