Robbers drill into Manhattan CitiBank floor, flee scene penniless

FLAT IRON DISTRICT, Manhattan – Cops are looking for three attempted bank robbers after their elaborate plan to break in to a CitiBank in the early hours of the morning failed horribly.

At 2:36 a.m. Saturday, three suspects drilled into the ceiling at 102 25 St. in order to enter the CitiBank located at 333 Park Avenue South.

Then, they tried to cut into ATMs inside the bank, but were unsuccessful and were forced to flee the scene. Police say the three suspects are Caucasian males.
