Two boys, 9 and 10, found after disappearing in Washington Heights

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS – Two boys missing since Tuesday evening have been found in Washington Heights, according to police.

Officers where interviewing their father on the sidewalk when they spotted the two brothers walking home.  Police took them to the precinct to check them out and find out where they had been.

Justin Tapia, 9, and Andy Cruz, 10, were in the care of their grandmother when the went missing.  They had last been spotted walking in front of 600 183rd Street Tuesday evening before they showed up Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

It’s still unclear where they were.
