Soccer tournament in Times Square helps NYC’s homeless

TIMES SQUARE, Manhattan– Times Square was turned into a pop-up soccer stadium for a great cause Sunday afternoon.

Street Soccer USA hosted the third annual "Times Square Cup" in partnership with the city's Department of Homeless Services.

More than 30 teams competed--along with ten youth and adult teams from the organization's social change program.

It's goal was to use soccer to teach life and job skills to the homeless.

Since its inception– Street Soccer USA has helped more than 3,000 people.
