MASPETH, Queens — The FDNY says a truck was struck by a non-passenger train, causing the vehicle to catch fire in Maspeth.
It happened at 55-97 Maspeth Ave. before 1 a.m. Wednesday.
The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries and managed to escape.
The train crew got out safely as well.
