World’s largest American flag flies over New Jersey

READINGTON, N.J.-- PIX11 was out Friday morning with the world’s largest American Flag, which also happens to be a hot air balloon!

The 33rd annual QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning is coming soon, set to run from July 24-26 in Readington, New Jersey.

The American Flag balloon is 53 feet tall, 78 feet wide, 29 feet deep, weighs 530 pounds and requires 30 million BTUs of propane to be fully inflated. It is only 1 of the 100 hot air balloons from around the world that will be flying at the festival.
