Amber Alert canceled for 3-year-old girl abducted in East Harlem

EAST HARLEM, Manhattan — An Amber Alert has been canceled after a 3-year-old girl was reported abducted from an East Harlem clinic.

The girl was found safely around 3:20 p.m., in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn the NYPD tweeted.

According to police, Patrick Giblin, 50, took the girl from a mental health clinic at 345 E. 102nd St.

Giblin, who police say is suicidal and suffers from PTSD, is now in police custody.

It’s unknown if the two are related.
