Warriors win first NBA Championship in 40 years, Iguodala named Finals MVP

CLEVELAND– The Golden State Warriors have won their first NBA championship in 40 years after beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 105-97 in the Game 6.

Led by Finals MVP Andre Iguodala’s 25 points and Draymond Green’s triple double, the Warriors handed the Cavaliers their fourth loss of the Finals at the Quicken Loans Arena. Stephen Curry had 25 points along with eight assists.

Ohio native Lebron James scored 32 points in a losing effort.

The Warriors won their last championship back in 1975.
