‘Kangaroo care’ technique being implemented at local hospital

"Kangaroo care" technique, where the baby is placed in an upright position and snuggles against their parent's bare chest, was developed in Columbia in the 1980s in response to a shortage of incubators, and is now being implemented at Montefiore Medical Center.
