NEWARK – Airport security officers arrested a Woodstock man after finding a loaded handgun in his luggage Sunday, according to the Transportation Security Administration.

TSA officers found the .32 caliber gun — loaded with six rounds of hollow-point bullets — in 40-year-old Gregory Soltanoff’s carry-on bag when he tried to pass it through the X-ray machine, officials said.

TSA officers called Port Authority police, who confiscated the weapon and arrested the man.

Soltanoff faces charges of unlawful possession of a handgun and unlawful possession of hollow-point bullets, according to Port Authority spokesman Joseph Pentangelo.
