MIDTOWN, Manhattan — Beekeepers removed over 30,000 bees from a Midtown crosswalk signal Saturday afternoon.

The bees were seen swarming the crosswalk signal in front of Louis Vuitton by 5th Avenue and 57th Street.

By 4:30 p.m., police had blocked off the area surrounding the crosswalk signal.

The New York City Beekeepers Association tells PIX11 that beekeeper Andrew Cote removed 30,000 bees from the scene.

Videos posted to social media show New Yorkers walking by the bees, completely unfazed.

Last month, nearly 40,000 bees were removed from underneath a Queens woman's bedroom floor.
