NEWARK, N.J. — Federal prosecutors say a Newark man has admitted sexually abusing two girls and recording the acts on his cellphone.

Justin Kinney pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of producing child pornography. The 26-year-old faces up to 60 years in prison when he’s sentenced Sept. 9 and will have to register as a sex offender.

Law enforcement officials executed a search warrant in October 2012 on Kinney’s laptop computer and cellphone, which revealed several files of child porn that appeared to be taken with his cellphone.

Kinney admitted that two of the images were taken by him while he sexually abused two girls. But further details about the victims have not been disclosed.
