A big-time star will soon hit the Broadway stage… you know him as George Costanza from Seinfeld.

That's right, Jason Alexander will be taking over the lead in Fish in the Dark.

It's a role currently played by none other than Larry David.

The comedy, written by David, is about how people deal with a death in the family.

This won't be Alexander's first time on the Great White Way though, he won a Tony Award for his role in the 1989 musical Jerome Robbin's Broadway.

But this role seems to be the perfect fit!

His first night will be Tuesday, June 9th.
