Cops seek shooter who struck two in Queens

ELMHURST, Queens (PIX11) -- The NYPD is looking for the man who shot two people on a Queens street early Sunday morning.

Authorities say around 12:10 a.m. Sunday, a man discharged a gun in front of a building on 43rd Avenue in the Elmhurst section, striking two victims.

A 25-year-old man struck in lower left leg and a 17-year-old female was also struck in the lower left leg, police said. The shooter then fled on foot to parts unknown.

The male victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital and the female victim was taken to Forest Hills Hospital where they both were treated and released.

No other injuries were reported.

He is described by police as male black, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering in front, white jeans and black and white sneakers.
