Cops arrest suspect in Bronx sexual assault

BRONX -- Cops have arrested the man they say sexually assaulted a woman in the Bronx on Wednesday.

Police arrested Francisco DeLaRosa , 27, of the Bronx.

Authorities say DeLaRosa  approached the 32-year-old victim around 4:45 a.m. in front of a building on Amethyst Street in the Van Nest section. As she was walking, DeLaRosa engaged her in conversation, before he allegedly punched her in the face and sexually assaulted her. The suspect then took $40 from the victim's bag and fled the scene.

He faces multiple charges, including first degree rape,  robbery in the third degree and three other charges.
