Dispute leads to shooting of man, woman in Harlem: cops

HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11)– A woman and man were shot after a confrontation with a group of men in Harlem, police said.

The shooting happened at Lenox Ave and West 129th St just after midnight Tuesday, according to the NYPD.

Police said the victims were in a dispute with three men when one of them pulled a gun and shot them both.

The female victim, 18, suffered a gunshot wound to the back and the man, 26, took a gunshot wound to his neck, cops said.

The victims were taken to local hospitals.

There are no arrests at this time.

An unofficial tally has at least ten people shot, two of them killed overnight in New York City.
