MANHATTAN (PIX11) — New photos were released this week of a trio of well-dressed jewelry store robbers who held up a shop in Midtown and stole Rolex watches, police said.

The heist happened shortly after 1 p.m. on May 12 at the Tourneau Shop located at 510 Madison Ave. Three men — dressed in colorful suit jackets and dapper hats — entered the store. One of them pulled out a gun and fired a shot into the floor while his two accomplices began smashing display cases with hammers to steal an undetermined amount of Rolex watches.

The trio then ran away, but when officers responded to the scene, they nabbed one of them — identified as Omar Rawlins, 18, of Brooklyn.

Two other men are still at large as of Tuesday evening. Police released new photos of them in the hopes that that the public would recognize the pair. He faces a charge of first-degree robbery.

Anyone with information is urged to call NYPD’s anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
