BRENTWOOD, Long Island (PIX11) — Narcotics officers executing a search warrant at a Suffolk County home found not only plenty of drugs, but dozens of roosters that were trained to fight.

Cops, as well as officers from the Suffolk County SPCA, raided Reynaldo Bonilla’s on 4th Street in Brentwood Wednesday morning. During the search, authorities found cocaine, marijuana, and 45 roosters that showed evidence of being trained for fighting.

Bonilla was hit with several charges of drug possession, and was also charged with training an animal to fight, a felony.

The roosters are in the custody of the SPCA.

Police are asking anyone with information on Bonilla’s operation to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
