N, Q service between Queens and Manhattan restored after FDNY investigation

(PIX11) — Service on N and Q trains have been restored in both directions between Queens and Manhattan Tuesday morning, the MTA said.

Service along the line had been suspended between 57th St-7 Av and Astoria-Ditmars Blvd, the agency said. Fire crews were called about 7:40 a.m. to Queensboro Plaza about a smoky odor inside the subway station, an FDNY official said.
