NEW YORK (PIX11) — Drivers daring to take the George Washington Bridge into New York Tuesday morning are urged to pack their patience.

Delays up to 60 minutes are reported on the upper inbound lanes due to an incident on the Cross Bronx Expressway, according to an 8:34 a.m. update from the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey’s online alert system.

Drivers instead can take the Lincoln Tunnel into the city.
