Photos released of attackers who brutally beat teen on Broadway Junction subway platform

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Police are searching for a group of teenagers who savagely beat and robbed another teen on the platform of a Brooklyn subway station Friday afternoon.

According to police, around 3:25 p.m., a 16-year-old male was attacked as a train was coming out of the Broadway Junction station.  At least five men assaulted him on the train before dragging him onto the platform and continuing to pummel him.

The victim was robbed of his pants, shoes and cell phone.

It's unknown if the attack was gang-related.

The assault comes just a day after a 17-year-old girl was brutally beaten inside a Downtown Brooklyn McDonald's.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
