Long Island man accused of killing his wife

EAST MEADOW, New York (PIX11) – A Long Island man had been charged after his wife was found murdered last month, according to Nassau County police.

Hector Bejarano, 53, faces one count of second-degree murder after police received a 911 call reporting an unconscious female April 28.  Responding officers found the body of 52-year-old Mirian Bejarano slumped on the floor of their Prospect Avenue home in East Meadow.

Bejarano is expected to be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
