MANHATTAN (PIX11) — Police are looking for a man accused of robbing a 19-year-old woman at knifepoint in Central Park Sunday evening.

The robbery happened around 8 p.m. inside Central Park at 109th Street and East Drive.

The unidentified suspect started talking to the victim as she was walking past him. The suspect then asked the victim to sit down with him, told her that he had a knife and demanded her money.

The woman handed over her wallet and the suspect fled north out of Central Park.  No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as Hispanic man, approximately 20 years old, 5’0″, 130 pounds, with long black hair in a bun and wearing cargo pants.
