This spring marks the 50th Anniversary of the law that created the New York City Landmark Preservation Commission and the procedures for saving history.

It was signed into law in April 1965 after the demolition of the old Pennsylvania Station in 1963.

The terminal offers tours of some areas. Get an inside look here from the top of the building to 10 stories underground.
