Glass falls from seventh floor of Brooklyn building, lands on child in stroller below

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN (PIX11) -- Glass from a window pane fell seven floors and onto a baby in a stroller on the street below in Brooklyn Tuesday afternoon.

EMS says the glass fell from a building on Willoughby Street at about 5 p.m. and landed on a stroller on the street. The child sustained cuts to its head and was taken to Brooklyn Hospital. The child is expected to be OK.

A spokesperson for OEM said that a person was cleaning and a piece of glass accidentally fell out the window.The Department of Buildings wasn't called because the accident wasn't caused by a structural issue.
