ST. GEORGE, Staten Island (PIX11) — Craft beers and wings galore were served to hungry guests at the fourth annual Staten Island Yankees Brewfest in St. George Saturday.
More than 1,000 festival-goers at Richmond Country Bank Ballpark featured more than 40 craft brews from all over the country to help wash down the scores of chicken wings of all kinds devoured at the event.
PIX11’s Kaitlin Monte will serve as a guest judge for the showcase, sampling wings to determine who is the real Staten Island king of wings.
Guests paid as low as $30 for unlimited beer samples until 7 p.m.
The festival usually takes place in the fall but was postponed until May due to conflicting schedules with vendors.
