HANOVER, Maryland (PIX11) — A man suspected of murdering his wife inside a Baltimore restaurant earlier this month may be in the New York/New Jersey area, according to the FBI.

Detectives say Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel, 24,  and his wife Palak both worked at a Dunkin Donuts in Hanover. Authorities believe Patel beat Palak to death in a back room just before midnight on April 12, then fled. Patel was born in India and was in the U.S. legally, but his VISA expired in March.

Patel was last spotted in Newark Penn Station on April 13. He is considered armed and dangerous.

The FBI is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to Patel’s arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
