Cops look for suspect who forcibly robbed 75-year-old woman in her Brooklyn apartment

EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (PIX11) — Cops are searching for the man responsible for pushing an elderly woman to the ground, then robbing her necklace inside her apartment.

The 75-year-old victim was exiting the elevator on Saturday at 3:35 p.m., when she was attacked.

As she entered her apartment lobby, a 21-year-old male suspect pushed her to the ground. He ripped a chain off her neck, then fled from the lobby.

She was treated for minor injuries to the neck and right knee.

The suspect weighs about 130 pounds and is 5 feet 9 inches tall. Police say he has a medium complexion, black hair and facial hair, and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and jeans.
