UPPER WEST SIDE (PIX11) — The NYPD is searching for a man who robbed a Chase bank on the Upper West Side Friday afternoon.

Police say the suspect walked into the bank located at 160 Columbus Ave. around 4:24 p.m. and demanded money. The clerk complied, and they suspect fled the location.

He is described as a white male in his thirties, about 6-foot tall.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or texting their tips to 274637 then enter TIP577.
