STURBRIDGE, Mass. (PIX11) — A charter bus full of University of Connecticut students burst into flames on a Massachusetts interstate highway Saturday afternoon.

According to NECN, the UConn students were on their way to Boston Harbor when the bus caught fire around 1:45 p.m., on the exit ramp of I-84 in Sturbridge.

No one was injured in the fire.

Smaller buses were sent to pick up students who were on the bus. NECN reports that 52 students were taken back to campus.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
