Man arrested for grand larceny of more than $1K of diapers

MINEOLA, Long Island (PIX11) — Cops say Kevin W. Hargrove, 24, was arrested Thursday afternoon for nabbing a large amount of packs of diapers for $1 each.

From January 7 to April 1, Hargrove allegedly went to Stop and Shop stores around Nassau County and checkout out “diapers” 14 times. In reality, he was scanning barcodes of much cheaper items that cost $1.

Hargrove was arrested at his home in Bushwich, Brooklyn. He was charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree, and two counts of Falsifying Business Records 2nd degree.

He will be arraigned on Friday, April 17, 2015 in First District Court.
