Fire tears through New Jersey home

CLIFTON, N.J. (PIX11) — Flames tore through a home in New Jersey Thursday morning, authorities said.

The blaze broke out about 4:30 a.m. at a home at 113 East Sixth St. in Clifton and grew to four alarms. Flames shot through the roof as firefighters worked to get the fire under control.

Shortly after 6 a.m., white smoke was billowing from the charred remains of the home and flames continued to lap at the roof.

There have no reports of injuries.
