Man, 81, accused of stabbing granddaughter’s boyfriend to death
BUSHWICK, N.Y. (PIX11)– An 81-year-old man has been charged in the stabbing death of his granddaughter’s boyfriend, according to police.
Nicholas Diaz, 81, of Brooklyn, was charged with one count of manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon after turning himself into police Sunday, NYPD said.
Police say Diaz stabbed 21-year-old Kevin Rivera in the chest inside his Brooklyn apartment early Sunday.
Rivera was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, NYPD said.
