UPPER EAST SIDE (PIX11) — Comedian Chuck Nice was arrested early Saturday on the Upper East Side and charged with DWI, police said.

The comedian, whose real name is Charles Fields, was driving a 2001 Volkswagen when he was pulled over on a routine stop on East 83rd Street and Third Avenue around 1:30 a.m. When the officer approached the car, he noticed Fields had watery, bloodshot eyes and spotted an open bottle of Stella nearby.

He  was taken into custody at the 19th Precinct on 67th street between Second and Third Avenues.

Fields has been featured on major television networks like HGTV and VH1. He also hosts “The Radio Chick,” a comedy show in New York on station 92.3.
