NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. (PIX11)-- Easter Sunday began with plenty of sunshine. However, during the afternoon a cold front will try to make its way through (but never quite does) which could bring some cloud cover and few sprinkles/showers into the area especially north of the city.

It won’t be a wash out but make sure to bring something to cover up just in case. Temperatures will be slightly milder than Saturday.

On Monday, the front moves back north and allows the clouds to break for some sun to come out.

Temperatures too will be on the rise again with many places reaching the 60 degree mark. Bad news is on Tuesday that same front makes it way south again and threatens the area with another round of showers so bring that umbrella. Temperatures again will be slightly cooler.
