EAST HARLEM (PIX11) -- Cheryl Williams and several other tenants of Taft Houses in East Harlem tell PIX11 running water is sometimes optional because recently they went without water for at least four days.

Willams said ,"I had to buy cases of water from Costco to get by."

That complaint is just one of several. Williams showed us garbage in her hallway and near her front door. The complaints come on the heels of a lawsuit tenants in another NYCHA building filed and the resignation of the NYCHA general manager.

Tenants are so upset, they set up a Facebook Page called "NYCHA  don't really care about us."

Williams said, "I post pictures there all the time."

We reached out to NYCHA for comment so far we have not heard back.
