MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (PIX11) — SWAT teams surrounded Lil Wayne’s Miami Beach home Wednesday after a chilling phone call to 911 about four people being shot.

SWAT team officials and Miami Beach police set up a perimeter outside the home at 94 Lagorce Circle after a man called a non-emergency dispatch line at 12:30 p.m. to report that he shot four people at the address.

The audio of the 911 call, which sounds like two different callers, was obtained by TMZ. Both callers admitted to shooting four people.

The calls turned out to be a swatting hoax, which is a fake report of a crime too serious for law enforcement to ignore, even if they know it’s likely fake.

Lil Wayne was not home at the time of the alleged incident, but his entourage was believed to have been inside, sources told WSVN.

A SWAT team and police found no evidence of a shooting while clearing the eight-bedroom, ten-bathroom $9.4 million mansion. Police are still trying to identify the pranksters.
