Cops search for suspected knife-wielding teen in Bensonhurst

BENSONHURST, Brooklyn (PIX11) — After four months of trying to find a teen who slashed another girl on a subway in Brooklyn, police have turned to the public for help finding the culprit and on Friday released a photo of the wanted girl.

On Nov. 12 last year at 3:25 p.m., police said a 16-year-old girl approached a 17-year-old girl and struck her in the face on a D train at the 79th Street Station. The attacker then drew a knife and yelled profanities at the victim.

The wanted teen is described as a 16-year-old black girl, about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.
