Fans will pack Yankee stadium on Sunday but it will not be for a baseball game or a concert.

New York City Football Club hosts it's first home opener in the Bronx.

The team, affiliated with Major League Soccer, is introducing itself to the city with a New-York style campaign.

Videos show the athletes giving away tickets in city streets and interacting with fans.

The first advertising images in newspapers and billboards look like street art. They display iconic architecture from the five boroughs inside each letter. Canvases will be created for each player.

Meres One was commissioned to create those special images. He is the artist well-known for his street art at 5Pointz in Long Island City, Queens.

The building was a well-known site for graffiti and street art along the 7 train. It's owner permitted the display until the building was torn down to build residential towers.

Meres One was born in the South Bronx and raised in Queens.
