Three homes damaged in Mill Basin fire

MILL BASIN, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- Four homes were damaged when a fire broke out in Mill Basin Monday afternoon.

The fire started at a home on National Drive at about 2:30 p.m. and quickly spread to neighboring houses. The fire reached 4 alarms. "The fire extended to four separate buildings, the wind complicated our firefighting operations," said James Leonard, FDNY Chief of Department. "We were on the scene in three minutes.

There were 5-6 firefighter suffered minor injuries. No residents were injured.

The fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal.
