LOS ANGELES (PIX11) — A special-needs kitten who was at risk of being euthanized is getting a second chance at life after a rescue organization designed a special wheelchair to help her walk.

“Tumbelina” suffers from cerebellar hypoplasia, an usual condition that makes it impossible for her to walk on her own, according to the organization. But the employees at Valley Cats Inc. in Los Angeles wouldn’t give up on the vibrant, energetic feline and created a four-wheel buggy to help her get around.

The wheelchair will allow Tumbelina to propel herself forward without the help of caregivers. Rescuers compared her to famed physicist and cosmologist Steven Hawking, who suffers from ALS disease: a brilliant mind trapped in a disabled body.

Now, Tumbelina is looking for a forever home. With an adorable face like that, it probably won’t take long.
