Woman, 22, shot multiple times while sitting in car on Long Island

NORTH BABYLON, Long Island (PIX11) — Police in Suffolk County are investigating a shooting that critically injured a 22-year-old woman early Saturday.

Antonia Brown was sitting in the passenger seat of a 2007 Toyota Scion parked in front of 107 Governor Ave. when someone fired multiple shots into the car. She was struck multiple times in the torso and transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.

No other occupants in the vehicle were injured.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or place an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
