PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia police arrested a man for allegedly stabbing two people — one fatally — who were working for rapper and singer Nicki Minaj.

Pierce Boykin, 31, of Philadelphia, faces charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault and other offenses.

Two Nicki Minaj staffers were both stabbed Wednesday after an altercation with a group of local men outside a bar.  29-year-old Devon Pickett  died after the attack; the other is still in critical condition.

It’s unclear whether or not police are looking for any other suspects at this time.

Nicki Minaj told reporters she was only in the City of Brotherly Love for two days while rehearsing for a show.

Neither Boykin nor any lawyer representing him was available for comment on the charges.
