LANTANA, Fla. (PIX11) – Rapper and reality star Vanilla Ice was arrested on burglary charges in Florida on Friday, according to multiple reports.

The 47-year-old “Ice, Ice, Baby” singer, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, faces burglary and grand theft charges that are apparently connected to his reality show, “The Vanilla Ice Project.”  TMZ reports that Van Winkle allegedly lifted furniture, a pool heater, bicycles and other objects from a vacant Florida house to furnish one he was renovating for upcoming episodes.

After police received a complaint from the owner of the house, which is being foreclosed, they say they found the missing items in Ice’s residence next door.  It’s unclear when exactly he allegedly lifted the property, but police believe it could have been between December, 2014, and February.

Ice was booked at the Palm Beach County Jail Wednesday.
