ATLANTA (PIX11) – Two relatives of singer Bobby Brown were involved in violent altercation at an Atlanta hotel early Friday, according to police.

Police spokeswoman Kim Jones said a woman identified as Brown’s sister, Tina Brown, hit a man in the head with a bottle at the W Hotel in midtown.

The man, identified as Bobby Brown’s cousin, Shayne Brown, suffered lacerations and drove himself to the hospital.  It’s not clear how the fight started and police did not specify their relation to Bobby Brown.  TMZ reports that the melee broke out after Shayne Brown allegedly called Bobby’s sister “a crackhead.”  Witnesses reported seeing “blood everywhere,” according to the gossip site.

The Brown family has been visiting Bobbi Kristina Brown at Emory University Hospital where she remains in a medically-induced coma after she was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub Saturday.  Despite doctors telling the Brown family there was nothing more they could do for the 21-year-old, according to sources, Bobby Brown refuses to take her off life support and has denied reports that family members are “saying their last goodbyes.”

Brown’s late wife, renowned singer Whitney Houston, was found dead in a Los Angeles hotel bathtub on Feb. 11 three years ago.
