NEWARK, N.J. (PIX11) — Due to the blizzard slamming the northeast, all Newark, New Jersey public schools will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 27., the district announced Monday afternoon.
All evening activities, including the School Advisory Board meeting, have also been cancelled.
Gov. Chris Christie declared a state of emergency in the Garden State, warning people to stay home.
