QUEENS (PIX11) -- The newest upgrades planned for Kennedy Airport will help four-legged flyers.
A vacant building on the grounds is being turned into a place to hold livestock, horses and other animals. A private company leased the 178,000 square foot space from the Port Authority.
It will have stalls for horses, an overnight resort for pets to stay in, and even a vet clinic. The facility, dubbed 'The Ark,' will open next year.
