NEW YORK (PIX11) -- We all know Hollywood is jam-packed with beautiful flawless people, right?
Well that’s what they want you to believe.
The fact is -- if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
From Kim Kardashian to Madonna, Hollywood’s elite has benefited tremendously from digital nips and tucks.
Now it has been revealed that everyone’s favorite punching bag Justin Bieber got the full Photoshop treatment for a highly publicized ad campaign.
When the Biebs’ new Calvin Klein underwear ad hit the web earlier this week, Beliebers released a collective sigh.
Then a website BreathHeavy.com leaked the un-retouched photos from the shoot of the pop star and it was clear they were generous. Very, very generous to the Biebs.
“Let’s just say that no matter how friendly Photoshop is to Justin Bieber, he’s still going to look like a little boy to me,” Pop culture lifestyle expert Valerie Greenberg told PIX11 News, giving her take on the apparent leaked scandal.
“They did a good job, I mean [he] looked like Channing Tatum. That is a Channing Tatum body. What, is he in Magic Mike now?”
According to Greenberg, the Photoshopped celeb is a trend that’s here to stay – like it or not.
“[Considering] where we are with technology, it’s just going to continue to progress,” she said. “Listen, we all do it, we’re all guilty of editing and putting filters on our pictures.”
In one alarming case, the trend appears to have seeped out of the magazine and into a high school yearbook.
A student at an all-girls high school recently took to Reddit, where she lashed out against the school for altering her photo.
She claims editors smoothed out and thinned her face, among other things, making her unrecognizable.
In Bieber’s case, BreatheHeavy.com suggested the leak was prompted by retaliation due to the pop star’s alleged bad behavior on the set of the Calvin Klein shoot.
According to a source, "he was basically a douche. He hit on [fellow model] Lara several times and she had to stop him, basically calling him out on being just a child."
