(PIX11)– Customers who used the mobile car service Uber on New Year’s Day probably woke up with a bad hangover and huge feeling of regret next morning.

Despite Uber notifying about surge pricing on one of the busiest nights of the year, many angry passengers openly complained on social media, showing their huge spike on their receipts.

Twitter users had no sympathy for Uber riders (or their wallets) who were shocked by the pricing.
