QUEENS (PIX11) — A unidentified woman attempted to deposit a fraudulent check at a Queens bank, police said.

The woman, who is described as white, tried to deposit the check into a checking account at a Bank of America in Astoria Nov. 12. The account was opened fraudulently in the name of a 46-year-old female, according to officials.

She is now wanted in connection to grand larceny. Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the woman.
